Anita Afrifa of Colby (Kan.) CC was named the 2024 NJCAA Division I Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Afrifa, who maintained a term GPA of 3.61, swept the 100 and 200 meters at the 2024 NJCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that a female athlete from Colby has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in track & field.
