Brayton Stephenson of Central Methodist (Mo.) was named the 2025 NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Stephenson, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.6, won the shot put at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Central Methodist has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in outdoor track & field.
