
Celine Ritter was named the NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Ritter, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.0, won the 3000 meters at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in 9:18.53 after finishing third in the 5000 meters (16:08.59). This is the first time that an athlete from Lee (Tenn.) has been named the National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year for the indoor season.
