Claudia Davila was named the National Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Davila, in her first year as assistant coach at Joliet (Ill.) JC, assisted the Wolves to a third-place finish at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. It was Joliet’s first year with a women’s program, and all 10 athletes who competed scored at the national championships.
