Ellianne Kimes was named the NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Kimes, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.85, won the pole vault at the 2021 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the second time Grand Valley State has earned an NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year award.
