Ethel Amissah of Iowa Western CC was named the 2024 NJCAA Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Amissah, who maintained a term GPA of 4.0, won the 400 meters and was a member of the winning 4×400 relay team at the 2024 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that a female athlete from Iowa Western has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in indoor track & field.
