Floyd Turner was named the National Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2025 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Turner, in his third year as assistant coach at College of DuPage (Ill.), coached the Chaps throwers to account for 42 of the team’s 195 points in winning the team title at the 2025 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Three of his throwers scored in two events each, led by hammer throw champion Sterling Sawicki.
