Grand Valley State was named Women’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2023 NCAA Division II Cross Country season. The Lakers, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.667, won the team title at the 2023 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships in Joplin, Missouri. This is the seventh time in program history that Grand Valley State has been named the Women’s Scholar Team of the Year for the cross country season. The Lakers previously earned honors in 2010, 2012-14, 2016 and 2018.
