Barker, in his ninth year at St. Francis (Ill.), led the Saints to their first team title in program history at the NAIA Cross Country Championships. It was a true team effort for St. Francis (Ill.), as the program didn’t have a finisher in the top-10, but put three in the top-20 and had another All-American effort for a 35-point win. Earlier in the season, the Saints won the Bethel (Ind.) Invitational, while finishing second at the Taylor (Ind.) Midwest Challenge and the Midwest Intercollegiate Meet.
