Jim Macnider of Harper (Ill.) was named the National Women’s Coach of the Year for the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Macnider, in his fifth year as head coach and his 12th year overall at Harper (Ill.), led the Hawks to their first team title since 2011 at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Hawks, ranked No. 1 the last five weeks of the year, won seven events and racked up 138.5 points to win by 42.5 points.
