Josie Puelz was named the NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Puelz, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.0, won the pole vault at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a jump of 4.00m (13-1½). This is the third time that an athlete from Concordia (Neb.) has been named National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season, with Puelz and Jacob Cornelio both having earned the honor last year.
