Kgadi Monyebodi of Colby (Kan.) CC was named the 2024 NJCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Monyebodi, who maintained a term GPA of 3.5, won the 10,000 meters and finished third in the 5000 at the 2024 NJCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the second time in program history that a male athlete from Colby has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in track & field.
