Luke Skinner was named the NAIA Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Skinner, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.95, won the 1000 meters at the 2021 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Yankton, South Dakota. This is the second time that Saint Mary has earned an NAIA Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year award, as Skinner earned the distinction in 2019.
