Maggie Ledbetter of Eastern Oregon was named the 2023 NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Ledbetter, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.0, won the shot put at the 2023 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Eastern Oregon has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in track & field.
