Melvin Kipkemboi won the men’s individual title at the 2020 NJCAA Division II Cross Country Championships this past weekend in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The freshman from Rift Valley, Kenya, outkicked three other men for the victory in the last 800 meters and crossed the finish line in 24:58.77. Kipkemboi ran well all season long and captured top NJCAA DII individual honors at the Region XI Championships in early November.
