Mercy Honesty of Iowa Western CC was named the 2025 NJCAA Women’s Indoor Track & Field Co-National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Honesty, who maintained a term GPA of 4.0, won the triple jump at the 2025 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. This is the third time in program history that a female athlete from Iowa Western has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in indoor track & field. Juliana Sakat is National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year and Ethel Amissah earned National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year honors last year.
