Na’shae Early was named the National Women’s Field Athlete of the Year for the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Early, who hails from Baltimore, Maryland, scored 27 points in field events at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She finished runner-up in both the discus and javelin, placed third in the hammer and was fourth in the shot put. Early competed in each of those four events at the same meet six times in 2023. She ended the regular season as the national leader in the discus at 38.80m (127-3).
