Nathan Ciarlette of Joliet (Ill.) JC was named National Men’s Track Athlete of the Year for the 2025 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Ciarlette, who hails from Joliet, Illinois, won three events at the 2025 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships – the 800 (1:58.62), 1500 (4:05.86) and 5000 (16:13.30) – and also ran a leg on the winning 4×800 relay team (8:00.34). Earlier in the season he set national NJCAA DIII records in the 800 at 1:54.79 and 1500 at 3:52.04.
