Obamuwagun, a sophomore from Lagos, Nigeria, put forth an all-time effort at the NJCAA Indoor Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas. She won the triple jump with a mark of 13.13m (43-1) in Round 4, which ranks sixth on the NJCAA all-time chart. That came after Obamuwagun ended the qualifying rounds with a 13.11m (43-0¼) effort that now ranks seventh all-time. She also finished a close runner-up in the long jump at 6.04m (19-9¼). Her 18 points in field events helped the Lady Texans take runner-up honors in the team standings.
