Rejoice Agbewodie of Central Arizona was named the 2025 NJCAA Division I Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Agbewodie, who maintained a term GPA of 3.79, won the shot put and javelin throw at the 2025 NJCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships while adding a runner-up finish in the hammer throw and fourth-place finish in the discus throw. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Central Arizona has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in outdoor track & field.
