Rowan Hamilton was named the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Hamilton, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.65, won the hammer throw at the 2024 NCAA DI Outdoor Championships. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from California has been named the National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season.
