Sheldon Powell of College of DuPage (Ill.) was named the 2023 NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Powell, who maintained a term GPA of 4.0, won the 3000-meter steeplechase at the 2023 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
