Steven Hermsen was named the NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Hermsen, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.97, won the discus title at the 2022 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 54.93m (180-2). This is the second year in a row that Hermsen has been named National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season.
