Treneese Hamilton of Barton (Kan.) CC was named the 2024 NJCAA Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Hamilton, who maintained a term GPA of 3.91, won the shot put and finished second in the weight throw at the 2024 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. This is the second time in program history that an athlete from Barton has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in track & field.
