Trenton Braswell of Mineral Area (Mo.) was named the 2024 NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Braswell, who maintained a term GPA of 3.44, swept the shot put, discus, hammer and javelin at the 2024 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Mineral Area has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in outdoor track & field.
