Trevon Hamer of Barton (Kan.) CC was named the 2024 NJCAA Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Hamer, who maintained a term GPA of 3.66, won the triple jump and finished fifth in the long jump at the 2024 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that a male athlete from Barton has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in track & field.
