Texas was named the NCAA Division I Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Team of the Year. The Longhorns maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.112 and won the national title at the 2022 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships with 47 points. This is the first time in program history that Texas has been named the NCAA Division I Men’s Indoor Track & Field Scholar Team of the Year. It is also the first such honor for a Big 12 Conference program since 2009 (Nebraska).
