Vlad Malykhin was named the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Valykhin, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.54, won the pole vault at the 2024 NCAA DII Indoor Championships. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Harding has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year for the indoor season.
