Zach Glavash was named the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Assistant Coach of the Year. Glavash, in his sixth year as assistant coach at Texas Tech, coached Red Raider sprinters and hurdlers to account for 47 of the team’s 50.5 points in winning the team title at the 2024 NCAA DI Indoor Track & Field Championships. His top athlete, Terrence Jones, swept the NCAA 60 and 200 meters. At the Big 12 Indoor Championships, Texas Tech scored 90 of its 152 points in the sprints and hurdles in winning the team title.
