Nelson Named DIII Cross Country Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year
162 DIII Men Earn All-Academic Status
NEW ORLEANS – Tim Nelson of UW-Stout was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2012 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This fall, Nelson was the individual winner of the DIII NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Scholar Athletes are determined from among those who earned All-Academic status and placed highest individually at the most recent NCAA Championships.

NEW ORLEANS – Christy Cazzola of UW-Oshkosh was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2012 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This fall, Cazzola was the winner of the Division III Cross Country Championships.

NEW ORLEANS – The Knights of Calvin College are the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2012 cross country season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Calvin took runner-up honors at the NCAA Cross Country Championship title this fall.
