

2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were recognized on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championships Saturday.
A total of 350 men from 128 different programs and 350 women from 137 different programs earned All-Region distinction by virtue of a top-35 finish at one of the ten regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions are eligible for awards.
There were 17 different teams in the country that had all seven of their athletes earn All-Region honors: Mid-Atlantic Region champion Carnegie Mellon, West Region runner-up Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, South Region champion Emory, Metro Region champion Haverford, Great Lakes Region champion John Carroll, Mid-Atlantic Region runner-up Johns Hopkins; East Region champion MIT, West Region champion Pomona-Pitzer and Niagara Region champion SUNY Geneseo on the men’s side; Mid-Atlantic Region champion Carnegie Mellon, West Region champion Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Mid-Atlantic Region champion Johns Hopkins, Niagara Region champion SUNY Geneseo, North Region champion UW-La Crosse, Midwest Region champion Wartburg, Midwest Region runner-up Washington (Mo.) and Mideast Region champion Williams.
Four different programs tied with the most combined honorees per institution with 14: Carnegie Mellon, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Johns Hopkins and SUNY Geneseo.
No conference had more All-Region athletes than the NESCAC with 81. Next up on the list was the UAA with 73, followed by the Centennial Conference with 55.
Many of these honorees with compete next Saturday, November 20, at the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer Park in Louisville, Kentucky!
