

2023 NJCAA DI Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 3
NEW ORLEANS – Salt Lake (Utah) CC continues to be a unanimous No. 1 program in the latest NJCAA Division I Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, which was released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
There are just over three weeks until the 2023 NJCAA Division I Cross Country Championships, which will be held on Saturday, November 11, at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.

Cross Country Polls & Rankings
Salt Lake (Utah) CC is No. 1 for the fourth-straight poll. The Bruins continued opening eyes while racing against four-year programs, most recently taking 10th among 21 teams at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational. Freshman Emerald Kehr – a former M-F Athletics National Athlete of the Week – led the way as their top individual for her third-straight race.
Defending champion College of Southern Idaho climbed two spots to No. 2, its highest of the year. The Golden Eagles impressed with a third-place finish amid a bevy of four-year teams at the Linfield George Oja Invitational as former M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week Elizabeth Phillips was the third collegiate individual.
New Mexico JC dropped a spot to No. 3. The T-Birds – last year’s national runner-up – went 1-2-3 for a third-straight meet in winning the their own NMJC Invitational III, with previous M-F Athletics National Athlete of the Week Damaris Chewon winning the last two.
Iowa Western CC is back at No. 4 for the third time this year. Led by current M-F Athletics National Athlete of the Week Silvia Gradizzi, the Reivers were fourth in Platte River Rumble in defeating the previous No. 3-ranked team, Colby (Kan.) CC. Gradizzi was fifth overall as the top JUCO runner.
No. 5 Colby (Kan.) CC remains among the top-5 for a third-straight poll after taking sixth place in the Platte River Rumble. Rosemary Arthur was the Trojans’ top individual for the second-straight race.
Completing the top-10 are No. 6 Dodge City (Kan.) CC, No. 7 Butler (Kan.) CC, No. 8 Hutchinson (Kan.) CC, No. 9 North Central Texas and No. 10 Cloud County (Kan.) CC.
