NEW ORLEANS – Here is the Week 3 edition of the 2024 NJCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor National Track & Field Rating Index, which was released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Only marks from the 2024 outdoor track & field season have been used for this objective list.
Co-defending champion South Plains (Texas) – which has had at least a share of the last three national outdoor titles – is No. 1 for a second-straight week, with co-defending champ New Mexico JC now the nearest pursuer.

Salt Lake and Fort Scott both have two national-leading marks, while Coffeyville and Indian Hills both have one.
