2023-24 USTFCCCA Program of the Year Award Winners Announced

NEW ORLEANS — The dust has settled.

It’s time to name our USTFCCCA Programs of the Year.

The USTFCCCA Program of the Year Award honors the institution that has achieved the most success in each academic year (spanning the cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field seasons) based on the institution’s finish at the NCAA Championships.

In order to be eligible for the award, teams must qualify for each of the NCAA Championships. Scoring is based on the team’s finish at each NCAA Championship in cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field (i.e. 1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2 points … 31st = 31 points) with the lowest total score for all three championships combined determining the award winner. Ties among schools split points for positions taken.

NCAA Division I

Find out how the race to be named USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Program of the Year came down to a finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on the men’s side and how consistency paved the way for a first-time winner on the women’s side.

NCAA Division II

NCAA Division III

Find out how one program ran away with the men’s award while it came down to the wire for the women’s award in the race to be named USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Program of the Year.

NAIA

You can’t get much closer than this! The race to be named USTFCCCA NAIA Women’s Program of the Year came down to a tiebreaker, while the men’s version went to a powerhouse for the first time in program history.
