Collegians Shake Up All-Time, All-Dates Lists Overseas
We’re less than one month away from the World Athletics Championships.
That means recent collegians are trying to hit another gear with Tokyo looming.
From The USTFCCCA InfoZone: Records & Lists
You better believe that happened around the world this past weekend.
Let’s see who made some major moves on the all-dates, all-time collegiate chart.

Handal Roban of St. Vincent and the Grenadines ran a championship record and the second-fastest collegiate time in the men’s 800 meters final at the NACAC Championships on Saturday in Freeport, The Bahamas.
Roban, who concluded his junior season at Penn State this year, nearly shaved off two seconds of his lifetime best of 1 minute, 44.39 seconds to win the NACAC title in 1:42.87, good for No. 2 on the NCAA all-dates list trailing only Joaquim Cruz in 1:41.71.
Roban was one of five men under the championship record of 1:45.79 by Ryan Martin, including American Brandon Miller in 1:43.15 for second, a hundredth-of-a-second off his lifetime best. Tyrice Taylor finished third in 1:43.74, establishing a new Jamaican record.
Navasky Anderson, who entered Saturday’s race as the current Jamaican record holder in 1:44.40., ran a personal best in 1:44.18 to finish fourth.
Abdullahi Hassan, who represented Mississippi State during the collegiate season, moved to No. 4 all-time on the Canadian all-time with his fifth-place time of 1:44.25.
Kazimierska Shines On Home Soil
Klaudia Kazimierska probably couldn’t wait to compete on true home soil: Poland, not that of her adopted hometown of Eugene, Oregon.
Kazimierska, who just concluded her senior year at Oregon, traversed 1500 meters in 3:59.66 at the Silesia Diamond League Meeting and moved up to No. 2 on the all-time, all-dates collegiate chart. Only former Huntington (Ind.) standout Addy Wiley ran faster within the confines of the track & field season, covering the distance in 3:59.17 back in September 2023.
Kazimierska, Wiley, and Jenny Simpson are the only collegians to have run sub-4 minutes in the event. Simpson still holds the recognized collegiate record at 3:59.90 from the Prefontaine Classic in 2009.
Mullings Continues To Impress In The Disc
There is only one rule in Ramona, Oklahoma: “Throw big or go home.”
Ralford Mullings took that to heart this past weekend at the Oklahoma Throws Series #30.
Mullings, who won the NCAA title this past outdoor season while competing for Oklahoma, launched a PR 72.01m (236-3) to win the elite section. He is now just the second collegian in history to throw farther than 72 meters, joining world record-holder Mykolas Alekna (Alekna has five marks at or past that threshold in his expanded collegiate career).
Boon Wins Women’s World Decathlon Title
Nikki Boon added a new chapter to her NCAA Division III record-breaking senior year at Emory, winning the Women’s Decathlon World Championships held Saturday and Sunday at The SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Competing in her first-ever decathlon, Boon totaled a meet-record 7451 points to win by 150 points over former Cincinnati heptathlete Katie Straus. Boon’s total was a national record for the Netherlands and places her No. 10 on the all-time world list as well as No. 2 on the all-time, all-dates collegiate list.
Heading into the final event, Boon held a 42-point lead over France’s Roseva Bidois, the silver medalist in last year’s event, and notched a time of 5:17.70 in her first-ever 1500 meters to conclude her victory.
Boon swept NCAA DIII titles and set DIII records this year indoors in the pentathlon (4061) and outdoors in the heptathlon (5638).Several other 2025 collegians competed in the event, with Corinn Brewer of Lehigh finishing fifth in a PR 6850 and Emily Swanson of Sioux Falls seventh in 6580. Making 10-event debuts were Madison Luthy of Cleveland State placing ninth in 6397, Delaney Straus of Culver-Stockton (Mo.) tenth in 6372, Faith Ladin of North Central (Ill.) 11th in 6328 and Miranda Marr of Lenoir-Rhyne 12th in 6238.
