Cross Country Polls & Rankings
Jefferson repeats as No. 1 in just its third year as a program. The Vikings – third in last year’s national championships after being runner-up in 2023 – gain attention despite losing all five scorers from last year. They look to be led by returner Kali Walker and new additions.
No. 2 Kellogg (Mich.) CC was seventh last year. The Bruins return two scorers led by Chloe Badger (46th) while adding several freshmen.
Defending champion Mineral Area (Mo.) is No. 3. The Cardinals – among the top-4 in the nationals in each of the last four years – will be led by Alison Skiles, who was third last year individually.
No. 4 DuPage (Ill.) was fourth last year. The Chaps return four of its top-6 from last year, with three earning multiple All-American honors in track led by Maureen Bluemle (four honors).
Joliet (Ill.) JC is No. 5 after finishing fifth last year. The Wolves return four scorers, led by Gabby Zid.
Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 FIT (N.Y.), No. 7 Georgia Military, No. 8 Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC, No. 9 Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC and No. 10 RCSJ Gloucester (N.J.). Keep an eye out for Harper (Ill.), which currently doesn’t have a full roster after finishing runner-up last year and winning the two previous years.
