Cross Country Polls & Rankings
Region 4 continues to dominate the top-3 with yet a new ordering among them.
Harper (Ill.) continues at No. 1 as Ryan Golden re-asserted himself as the team’s top runner, earning M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors after finishing as the top JUCO athlete at the Gene Davis Invitational.
DuPage (Ill.) moved to No. 2, ahead of Joliet (Ill.) JC for the first time since being preseason No. 1. That ordering is despite Joliet finishing ahead of DuPage in their latest meeting at the Seminole Valley Stampede, where the Wolves were seven points better as the only NJCAA DIII teams among mostly four-year programs. In head-to-head scoring, DuPage had a 25-32 edge. Joliet is led by Nathan Ciarlette, DuPage by Adriano Quintero; both are freshmen.
Thaddeus Stevens (Pa.) is No. 4 for the third ranking in a row after winning the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Championships, and Mineral Area (Mo.) continues at No. 5, the latter continuing to be led by freshman Lucas Campbell.
Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 Kellogg (Mich.) CC, No. 7 Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC, No. 8 Brookdale (N.J.) CC, No. 9 Monroe-Rochester (N.Y.) CC and No. 10 Lorain County (Ohio) CC.
