Julie Heyde was named the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Coach of the Year. Heyde, in her second year as Director of Track and Field and Cross Country at MIT, led the Engineers to its first-ever team title at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships. MIT scored 49 points in earning 12 individual All-American honors – led by shot put/weight threw champ Alexis Boykin – along with the distance medley relay.
