Esther Conde Turpin of Azusa Pacific was named the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Field Athlete of the Year. Conde Turpin, who hails from La Reunion, France, set a meet record of 4447 points in winning the pentathlon at the 2025 NCAA DII Indoor Championships. That was also the second best total in NCAA DII history. Conde Turpin ended the season ranked among the nation’s best in both the pentathlon and high jump – the latter with a 1.78m (5-10) clearance.
