Lauren Jarrett was named the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Track Athlete of the Year. Jarrett, who hails from La Crosse, Wisconsin, rewrote the NCAA DIII all-time 60-meter list this season. The UW-La Crosse standout ended 2025 with seven of the ten fastest marks on the chart, including a pair of 7.29 efforts at the top. Jarrett went undefeated against NCAA DIII competition and swept the short sprints at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships that included a meet record and division-record tying 7.29 in the 60-meter prelims. Back in February, Jarrett finished sixth in the 60 at the USATF Indoor Championships.
