QA₂ Max: Houston Coach and Former WR Holder Leroy Burrell

PHOENIX – Leroy Burrell has done it all. In his 16th season as the head track & field coach at his alma mater, Houston, Burrell has pumped out dozens of All-Americans and team conference titles, and a handful of Olympians and NCAA champs. Before his coaching career, Burrell was one of the most famous and successful sprinters the sport has ever seen. He broke the world record in the 100 meters twice and had a rivalry with Carl Lewis that pushed the sport to new heights.

At convention, we talked to him about coaching his son, hiring Lewis, and much more.
