Mineral Area (Mo.) is No. 1 for the first time since Week 4 of 2022, a year they finished as runner-up by a just one point. The Cardinals are led by Jailey Pigg, who was last week’s M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week.

Jefferson (Mo.) drops a notch to No. 2. The Vikings have been led thus far by Lauren Hartman, one of two Top-10 returners (along with Reagan Edwards) from last year’s runner-up team.

Remaining at No. 3 is DuPage (Ill.). The Chaps are led by returning Nationals third-place finisher Carmen Solis.

Two-time defending champion Harper (Ill.) is No. 4. The Hawks’ Isabella Wojciechowski is the current M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week and their top returner is her twin sister, Claudia.

No. 5 Joliet (Ill.) JC, which didn’t field a complete team last year, is led by freshman Gabby Zid.

Completing the top-10 are No. 6 Kellogg (Mich.) CC, No. 7 FIT (N.Y.), No. 8 RCSJ Gloucester (N.J.), No. 9 Georgia Military and No. 10 Onondaga (N.Y.) CC.

The season culminates on Saturday, November 9, when the 2024 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will be held at Pole Green Park near Richmond, Virginia.
