Mineral Area (Mo.) is No. 1 for the third-straight poll, but the Cardinals remain so with a new top runner as Alyson Skiles led MAC to sweep the top-6 places at the non-scored Principia North Farm Twilight.
Jefferson (Mo.) continues at No. 2 for the third-straight time. The Vikings were the leading JUCO program at the Brian T. Simpson Invitational with Reagan Edwards leading the way for the first time.
No. 3 remains two-time defending champion Harper (Ill.). The Hawks were fourth as the top JUCO squad at the Gene Davis Invitational, with Isabella Wojciechowski finishing as the sixth collegian in earning M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this fall.
DuPage (Ill.) repeats at No. 4. The Chaps were the leading NJCAA DIII team at the Seminole Valley Classic a week ago as returning Nationals third-place finisher Carmen Solis was named that week’s M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week.
Joliet (Ill.) JC is steady at No. 5. The Wolves have not competed the last two weeks.
Completing the top-10 are No. 6 Kellogg (Mich.) CC, No. 7 Georgia Military, No. 8 Oxford (Ga.), No. 9 Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC) and No. 10 FIT (N.Y.).
There’s just over three weeks until the 2024 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday, November 9, at Pole Green Park near Richmond, Virginia.
