
Linga, a sophomore from Nairobi, Kenya, might have been quiet during the regular season, but was ready when her number was called at the NJCAA Indoor Championships. She scored an almost-unheard-of 35 points in Pittsburg, Kansas, winning national titles in the mile (5:03.42), 3000 (9:56.89) and 5000 (17:59.17) along with a fourth-place effort in the 1000 (3:02.85).
