Josuha Rivers was named the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Field Athlete of the Year. Rivers, who hails from Bolingbrook, Illinois, put a stamp on a sensational season with a meet-record victory in the long jump at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships in Rochester, New York. He soared 7.81m (25-7½) to obliterate a 26-year-old meet best. That was one of three marks of 7.81m or better this season, which included a massive 8.13m (26-8¼) effort to shatter the NCAA DIII record in the event back in early December.
