Wagner, in her 11th year at UW-La Crosse, was named the National Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year. Her athletes contributed 25 points to the Eagles’ total of 56 at the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which sent them to a runner-up team finish. During the regular season, Wagner guided her sprinters, hurdlers and relay teams to top billing in the #EventSquad Rankings for the 100, 200, 100H and 400H. UW-La Crosse won six event titles in her coaching area at the WIAC Outdoor Championships – 100, 200, 400, 100H, 400H, 4×400 – and scored 130 of the team’s 267.5 points at the meet.
