Kyle Rutledge of Pittsburg State was named the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Coach of the Year. Rutledge, in his fourth year as Director of Cross Country and Track & Field at Pittsburg State, led the Gorillas to the team title at the 2025 NCAA DII Indoor Championships, earning 20 First-Team All-America honors. Pittsburg State also won the team title at the MIAA Indoor Championships, winning eight events and scoring a meet-record 222 points.
