Sam Blaskowski was named the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Track Athlete of the Year. Blaskowski, who hails from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, capped a record-breaking season by sweeping the short sprints at the 2025 NCAA DIII Indoor Championships in Rochester, New York. He took down his own 60-meter meet record in the prelims with his 6.62 effort and then matched that in the final. Then, Blaskowski turned one lap in a season-leading 21.26 to win the 200 by 0.20 seconds. Earlier in the season, Blaskowski shattered his own NCAA DIII record in the 60 meters with his 6.60 in the prelims of the WIAC Indoor Championships. He ended the indoor season with four of the fastest marks in NCAA DIII history in that event.
