Division II Cross Country National Rankings Now Posted – Week 5

The top six in both the men’s and women’s USTFCCCA Division II Cross Country National Poll remained unchanged this week. Adams State and Chico State remained the top-ranked teams in the men’s and women’s polls.

On the men’s side UMass Lowell and Missouri Southern State made big jumps in the rankings this week as Lowell improved four spots to No. 8 this week while Missouri Southern improved six spots to No. 13.

No. 17 Tarleton State and No. 19 Pittsburg State also moved up in the rankings this week improving five and four spots respectively.

Wayne State (Michigan) entered the rankings for the first time this season at No. 22.

On the women’s side, Seattle Pacific climbed to No. 7 in the poll, up five spots from last week’s poll. Truman State entered the rankings at No. 16 this week followed by Ferris State at No. 17, which moved up four spots from No. 21.

Colorado School of Mines and UC San Diego, ranked Nos. 22 and 23 respectively, entered the poll for the first time this season.
