The Women of Wartburg Stand as Top-Ranked Team in D3
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Wednesday afternoon the latest indoor track & field national team rankings for NCAA Division III. Wartburg’s women took over No. 1 from Illinois Wesleyan who was leading for the four weeks previous. Wartburg gained 52.35 ranking points in the last weekend to land at 174.11 after five weeks of national team rankings. UW Oshkosh on the men’s side remains No. 1 with 156.97 points, but UW Stevens Point is closing the gap as they now stand less than 11 points from their in-state rival.
